Podiatry at home in Burringbar 2483. On the Tweed Valley Way between Mooball and Stokers Siding, and close to the centre of the area we cover.
The drive to Burringbar
Burringbar is a short strip of shops on the Tweed Valley Way, between Mooball and Stokers Siding, with the Burringbar Range behind it. It sits almost exactly in the middle of the area we cover, which makes it a useful place to break a long day.
Burringbar is 41.8 km from our base in Tweed Heads, about 37 minutes each way — roughly 74 minutes in the car before we have seen anybody. That is most of an hour and a half of driving, so this is a planned trip rather than a same-week booking.
If you are near Masterson Park, Mooball Lagoon or Quinn Family Park, you are inside the area we visit.
Booking a day out to Burringbar
Burringbar is grouped with Pottsville, Ocean Shores and Hastings Point, so those visits sit on the same day. Tell us the days that suit you and we will tell you when we are next heading out that way. And if a neighbour, a partner or someone else in your street also needs their feet done, say so when you ring — two visits in the one trip is what makes the drive work, and it usually means we can come sooner.
What a visit in Burringbar covers
A full assessment comes first: pulses and circulation, sensation and nerve function, skin and nail condition, and how the foot is loading when you walk. Then the treatment — thickened nails reduced, corns and hard skin removed, pressure points relieved — and a look at your footwear if it is working against you. All of it in the comfort of your own home, with everything needed brought along.
Paying for it
$170 for a first visit to Burringbar and $150 after that, with no call-out charge on top — Burringbar is inside the area we cover. A Home Care Package, a DVA card, an NDIS plan or private health extras all change what you actually pay. Every price is set out on the fees page.
