The drive to Mullumbimby
Mullumbimby sits inland from Brunswick Heads on the Brunswick River, with the shops along Burringbar Street. It is the furthest point south we visit regularly, and it is always booked on the same day as the other Brunswick Valley stops.
Mullumbimby is 56 km from our base in Tweed Heads, about 46 minutes each way — roughly 92 minutes in the car before we have seen anybody. That is most of an hour and a half of driving, so this is a planned trip rather than a same-week booking.
