Home visit podiatrist in Tugun

Podiatry at home in Tugun 4224. The northern edge of the area, a short run up the coast from Coolangatta.
The drive to Tugun
Tugun is the northern edge of the area, tucked between the airport and Currumbin with Tugun Hill behind it. Being at the edge, it is best booked on a day we are already heading north.
Tugun is 6.9 km from our base in Tweed Heads, about 11 minutes each way — roughly 22 minutes in the car before we have seen anybody. That is close enough that we can usually fit a visit in at short notice, often in the same week.
If you are near Alf and Kathleen Neumann lookout, Tugun Hill or Woodgee Hill, you are inside the area we visit.
On the same run
Tugun is grouped with Tweed Heads West, Coolangatta and Tweed Heads, so those visits sit on the same day. If someone else near you needs a visit as well, mention it when you ring and we will put you together on the one run.
What a visit in Tugun covers
A full assessment comes first: pulses and circulation, sensation and nerve function, skin and nail condition, and how the foot is loading when you walk. Then the treatment — thickened nails reduced, corns and hard skin removed, pressure points relieved — and a look at your footwear if it is working against you. All of it in the comfort of your own home, with everything needed brought along.
Paying for it
$170 for a first visit to Tugun and $150 after that, with no call-out charge on top — Tugun is inside the area we cover. A Home Care Package, a DVA card, an NDIS plan or private health extras all change what you actually pay. Every price is set out on the fees page.
