The drive to Coolangatta
Coolangatta is over the border but closer to our base than most of the New South Wales suburbs we visit. Greenmount, Kirra and Rainbow Bay are all within a couple of minutes of each other, which makes a morning here easy to fill.
Coolangatta is 1.5 km from our base in Tweed Heads, about 4 minutes each way — roughly 8 minutes in the car before we have seen anybody. That is close enough that we can usually fit a visit in at short notice, often in the same week.
If you are near Razorback Hill, Tom Beatson Lookout or Coolangatta Beach, you are inside the area we visit.
On the same run
Coolangatta is grouped with Tweed Heads, Tweed Heads South and Tweed Heads West, so those visits sit on the same day. If someone else near you needs a visit as well, mention it when you ring and we will put you together on the one run.
What a visit in Coolangatta covers
A full assessment comes first: pulses and circulation, sensation and nerve function, skin and nail condition, and how the foot is loading when you walk. Then the treatment — thickened nails reduced, corns and hard skin removed, pressure points relieved — and a look at your footwear if it is working against you. All of it in the comfort of your own home, with everything needed brought along.
